About Spectrum Coaching

Autism doesn't come with a manual, it comes with parents who never give up

The snowflake in my logo reflects my firm belief that no two children are the same, regardless of any diagnosis or abilities, and so the help I offer is tailored to suit each individual family.

I would like to explain a little bit about coaching - what is it, how it works and why you need it

Chrissie Alderman

As a life coach I am a listener first and foremost, I ask questions that help reveal your truth. Once we have identified your truth, we can then formulate a personalised plan to create real, long lasting and effective change. Let me be clear, I can point you in the right direction, but you are the one doing all the hard work. There is no magic wand to wave, there is no “cure”. But, with my help, you can achieve a happy, fulfilling and rewarding life for you and your family.

Why Do I Need A Coach?

Now to answer that question, we must think about your current situation. What is there in your life that causes you to feel sadness, pain, or grief? What is so hard that you feel you would rather hide than face it yet again tomorrow? What do you wish for every day? If you could picture the most wonderful family life what is it that needs to change for you to experience that life? If you can’t think of one thing that you would like to change for the better, then you are lucky indeed and I wish you well.

So...

If you have thought of something that, if you didn’t have to deal with it every day, your life would be immeasurably better, then you need a coach.

But before you click on the “Get In Touch” button below, ask yourself these questions;

  • Are you open to new ideas; new ways of thinking; looking at a problem from an alternative perspective; developing new routines; trying out interventions yourself; to keep on trying when you are exhausted?
  • Will you apply all the new information, advice, suggestions and actions that are agreed between us?
  • Will you put value on our sessions, will the action plan become your top priority?
  • Will you make yourself fully available for our sessions with no distractions?
  • Do you realise that you are the best placed person to make the changes needed and know in your heart that you can make a difference if you just knew what to do?

If you have answered with a determined and passionate YES! Then get in touch now!

“Don’t think that there’s a different, better child ‘hiding’ behind the autism. This is your child. Love the child in front of you. Encourage his strengths, celebrate his quirks, and improve his weaknesses, the way you would with any child.”
